*********** UPDATE!! Aug 2025 ****************
I'm hosting I LOVE MY PET LETTER SWAP.
If you were watching and it dissapeared, you are not crazy!!! It's my very first time hosting and I had to remake it, so I deleted the first one that posted. I apologize for the inconvenience to the 3 people watching. I appreciate your patience as I am unfamiliar with Markup Syntax, photo size requirements and such.
As you may have read, I am not able to "angel" at this time. And I cannot not ask others to "angel" on my behalf, not after reading how they really feel about doing so in the forums. The internet is not a safe space and I wouldn't want to expose someone that way.
Thank you for your patience and I hope you still choose to participate!

RE: MAIL August Update
All swaps from this website and others are accounted for, so mail is moving. Please know it will get there .... eventually.
Please let me know if you don't receive my swaps! I want you to enjoy swapping with me and I'm happy to re-send. Know that I rate within 24/48 hrs of receipt of my swap, and I'll let you know if I havent received anything before rating. I'm not looking to ruin anyone's scores.
July 2025 *****PLEASE NOTE!!!!***** July 2025
It's seems my partners are not getting my mail and vice-versa, I'm not getting my swaps either. This is happening across swapping sites, so it's not just SB.
I am considering weather events, I'm in TX, USA and we have been having some deadly floods. While I am about an hour away from where over 130 people died, a week or two before that we had 13 people die from floods in my area. Needless to say, weather can disrupt mail service...
I spoke to my regular mail carrier this weekend and he said he noticed the lack of mail as well. He referred me to his supervisor in the PO that serves my area. I'm pending a return call.
I'm following up from my end as best I can. This is incredibly frustrating...
Please let me know if you havent received my offerings. Email me right here on SB because I dont check my personal email on a regular basis.
I want you to enjoy swapping with me and I'm happy to resend, just let me know.

If you have been on swap bot for a while you know this site can be very unwelcoming at times, even with the general site terms (and just human decency) stating otherwise... Having said that...
To Swappers and Hosts who want to have fun:
My account speaks for itself. :) I am an original member, meaning I was here since before SB switched websites. Yes, I've come and gone over the past 16 years, but I always leave the site having fulfilled all my swaps. I swap in more than one site and I most often join a swap only after I have completed the project, which is why I don't have that many completed swaps here.
Presently, I'm a straight up 5 and I have only ever had one account. I flaked once, back in 2010, when my dad was dying, and I received a 1 rating, but I deleted that rating because the member deleted their account. This is not "getting lucky" or "cheating", this is how Swap-bot works; a good swapper is given the grace to come back from a mistake.
I am here to join swaps not drama, which is why I avoid the cesspool that is the forum section here. And after reading the complaints from those who "angel", I don't ask for it. So unless you have a really good swap, you probably won't hear much from me. Please review my ratings and the comments from the recipients of my creative endeavors before deciding whether or not you'd like me to participate in your swap.
If you have any questions, feel free to message me here on SB. I don’t get online daily, so give me time to respond and I will happily answer any questions you may have.
I look forward to swapping!
***********INTRO********** May 2025
Hi all!
Been a participant of Swap-bot, on/off, since at least 2009…Since before SB updated their web-site!
I come and go, but I always leave having filled my swaps, ensuring receipt and having left ratings. Except the time my dad died.
I think i rate fairly and in a timely manner, so if I haven't rated you it's because I haven't gotten it yet. This doesn't mean mistakes won't happen, so drop me line! Communication is everything on a site like this!
I know that the date and time that's posted on the envelope is not always the date and time it was mailed, so I usually wait two weeks from the date my partner clicked "sent" on the swap page. I will reach out to you via swap-bot messages before rating...of course, communication. ;).
If you feel I clicked "SENT" too quickly after partners are assigned, it's because sometimes I do. Creativitiy is my go to when stressed, sad or whatever... So I usually make my swaps as soon as I put it on the watchlist and join once my project is done. So Sometimes my swaps just need an address by the time partners are assigned. I also message you on SB to let you know I sent it.
If you don't get my stuff, LET ME KNOW! I'll probably be pestering you via SB messaging as well, just to make sure, but if you don't want to wait any longer, I'm happy to resend.
I don't want to ruin anyones scores and I don't want my scores damaged either.
It’s been a while since I’ve logged on. Life doesn’t get in the way of creative endeavors, but it can disrupt focus and deadlines. So I’ve continued creating and experimenting; it’s just recently I’ve been able to commit to swaps, but I'm on a budget, so I’m lurking and updating… joining those I can...I may even try hosting a swap! Who knows!
I love to do all sorts of arts and crafts! It's my medicine.💜 My interests run the gamut and I am open to experimenting here and there. But there are some crafts I come back to over and over which make them my favorites: painting in watercolors, ink, acrylicas and pencils, collage, crochet, cross stitch, polymer clay, writing, ATCs, cooking, puzzles… really, whatever catches my fancy at the moment.
I feel the same about topics… I’m open to discussing anything from artsy to zen, and everything in between.
I am also big time into reading with spirituality, creativity, philosophy, science fiction, urban fantasy, earth based belief systems and history being my favorite topics.
I spend a lot of time alone so the squawk box is always on… mostly on YouTube creatives, standup comedy, fantasy/scifi, politics or a lecture of some kind… science, philosophy, history, religion, art...
I'm an open-minded individual, meaning I'm open to alternative perspectives and have enjoyed participating in swaps that were adult themed and focused on alternative views and practices. That said, everyone has boundaries and respect is reciprocal. ❤️
My last move was to Texas, USA, where I still reside.
I’m soon to be a first time grandma this September!
I've been developing a love for teas. I've been exploring the more fruity flavors, but find I don’t enjoy them warm…not all of them, anyway. Love chai, chamomile, peach/mango…started steeping Yogi’s Positive Energy Sweet Tangerine in the fridge overnight and it's been AMAZING in the recent 100o(F)+ weather we’ve been having. Also been making fruit lemonades. I like strawberry lemonade. Wasn't too crazy about watermelon lemonade... I don't use sugar... been using a monks fruit blend.
Favorite Animals- anything with feathers and fur… I’m one of those women who feeds and TNRs cats. I had a couple of goldfish for about 12 years, and that was an interesting experience. They were very responsive and recognized me from my family. A really lovely experience.
Presently, we have 3 small dogs and a deaf cat, not counting the colony outside which varies. I'm working to home those who are good candidates for it.
Fav Colors- It really depends on my mood- I love watery blues and greens but the fire of yellows reds and browns is undeniable! Then you accent these with gold or white….! I mean...right? Yeah, I just love color.
Love Crystals and crystal lore.Have had some interesting experiences with crystals.
Love to garden. Have had some interesting experiences there, too. I'm very much into the belief that we are all energy expressed into matter and what we put out there makes a difference and this was very evident to me in the garden. I'm really inexperienced, so I'm not always successful as a Gardner, but the concept of the interconnectedness of it all is sooo clear!
Dislikes: Horror/Gore/Abuse/Proselytizing material (preachy stuff)/hypocrisy
I’m grateful to those who put so much time and energy into making this site possible for all these years, and to the hosts for making it fun with some creative ideas and swaps…I’m happy to share and be shared with…
Don't have cable... haven't had it years, but there is always streaming... Netflix, Hulu, Youtube... :)
My favorite channels (when we had cable) were: Showtime, The Learning Channel, Sci Fi Channel, Discovery, History and Do It Yourself channels. This listing gives you an idea of my choice of entertainment
Favorite shows: Firefly, Farscape, The Invisible Man, Ancient Aliens.... Remember Warehouse 13 and Eureka? XFiles, Paradox, The Twilight Zone (old and reboot), the Outer Limits, Amazing Stories, Tales from the Dark Side and Taled from the Crypt; Supernatural kinda lost me at season 8... that clown makeup was just too much! I'm trying to get back... Got the Battlestar Galactica remake on DVD to rewatch as often as I like. Love The Sandman, Black Mirror, Love Death and Robots and Secret Level....I know there is so much more I'm leaving out...
Big into native-made fiction, fantasy, urban fantasy and sci fi: The Fifth Element, Harry Potter, the Dune series, Dogma, Clerks, Whale Rider, Powow Highway, The Edge of America, Smoke Signals, Star Wars, Fight Club, Firefly/ Serenity, Howl's Moving Castle, My neighbor Totoro, Gattica, Great Expectations, Mirrormask, Ever After, Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Neverending story, Constantine, Valerian, Battlestar Galactica (both series) Mushi-shi, Mazinger, Candy!Candy!, G-Force, Harlock the Space Pirate...
40's, 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's, both US top 40 and Central, South American and European bands/singers: David Bowie, Queen, Shakira in both Spanish and English, Cake (the whiny biotches!), Alanis Morissette, The Cure, AC/DC, Mecano, Los Enanitos Verdes, Maná, Los Chicos, El Trio Los Condes, the Beatles, Sarah Vaughan, Oldies and anything I sing along or dance to!
I also love some hippy-dippy, flower child, uplifting music, as well as mantras and world beats. Siberian throat singing anyone? South American Icaros?
I'm a Gen X, latch-key kid, so I grew up on National Geographic, World magazine, Star trek re-runs, Nova, In Search of, Alexander, Bob Ross and Jaques Cousteau. The documentaries made me curious so I used to read the "New Book of Knowledge" children's encyclopedia for fun :). Then I learned there were stories, too, and I was lost! A book person was born! There is so much you can learn from books! For a long time, books were my escape... And I learned about the library (remember the card catalog?) and inter/intra library loans and even having the library purchase a particular book! oh!
Anyway, I taught myself to crochet and follow patterns from books, I can follow cooking recipes (for the most part) and have always been into art, crafts and watercolor tutorial type books.
On a personal note, I'm into re-Indigenizing and de-centering settler mentality in my life. So I read some history, some Indigenous phylosophy, stories and such to dissect beliefs and worldviews...
As for stories, my tastes are pretty much like my taste in movies: sci fi, fantasy, urban fantasy... I remember there was a magazine, like a digest type magazine that came out monthly... Amazing Stories or something. It was all strange and sci fi stories and I got hooked!
I've been rereading the Dune series since I discovered it in high school. And I read Jurrasic Park in a night (it was nothing like the movie) as well as The Silence of the Lambs (and the book was soooo good!). I was so exhausted from reading, I stayed home from school and spent the day in bed, reading between naps!
I was reading the Pern series until the author's kids started taking over. I did read some of her other series: The Tower and the Hive, Acorna and Petaybee. Didn't get beyond a couple of books ... I often reread the books of the Black Jewel Series by Bishop, but couldn't get into the Others series. I really enjoy the classics, like Pillip K Dick, Asimov, Pierce Anthony, Scott Card... and more!
Beyond the dramatic fantasy/sci fi, I do enjoy the fun stuff too. I've reread the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series and The Princess Bride, Neil Gaiman has come up with some amazing reads: Good Omens is so different from the show. And the tv adaptation of Discworld really doesn't do it justice!
Presently I'm loving audiobooks. I get them from everywhere! I have a paid subscription to an audio book club and I download loans from the local library.

In response to the comment on my comment: yes the universal wisdom deck is very lovely! I find the messages from it are comforting and though I don't always understand what spirit is trying to communicate I think it is pretty accurate in readings for me! Btw I was thinking about the one you have, too, the ask your spirit guides deck. How do you like it? :)
