Okay, girls! Time to craft for a happy period!

I\'ve recently seen a whole influx of crafty \"period\" stuff. Cloth pads, knitted tampons, cute cases, heating pads filled with rice, knitted wombs, journals and so on and so forth.

So, I propose a swap. A swap of things that will make us happy during that \"time of the month\". This swap is mostly crafty- i.e., making stuff yourself, but feel free to supplement with bought items.

EDITED: Enough people have emailed me saying that they need more time that I have pushed the send by date a week forward to the 17th!

RULES: -No people with less than 4.0 ratings! If you feel like you\'ve been unfairly rated, let me know and we shall see. -Please at least six items. I\'d say something like a $25 USD minimum, but this swap is international, so that might not work out. Just... send what you\'d like to receive! -There\'s a survey at this link! Fill it out, so your partner knows some \"stuff\" about you! -Don\'t forget to thank and rate your partner when you receive!

I think this swap sounds awesome, but I don't sew/knit/make any crafty thing that is quite appropriate. Would it be okay if I purchased items handmade by other people to include here?

other than that i am really into the random aspect of swapping at times like this,

I was just thinking that if you knitted a tampon, maybe you could put a little cute similey face on it and just make it for fun (like a stuffie) rather than for actual use?!

I'm very excited for this swap! I don't have a blogspot account, so I hope it's okay to just fill out the survey here.
Swap-bot Username: Shelley. I'm interested in receiving: I make cloth pads, so I have a ton, but I'm always interested in seeing how other people make them, so getting one would be cool. I'm particularly excited about period-related artwork. I don't really like storing things inside of my body, so I prefer non-tampon or Keeper things. I also don't like tea, which I can see limits the things people could send me, but honestly I would be excited to get anything periody.

I'm claudia/ Tod. I'd love to have cloth pads.. better hurry, I'm close to menopause. I really wouldn't care for knitted tampons, but I'd love period related art/ zines, etc.. or any kind of feminist literature. Tea is great. Thanks... I'm usually pretty open minded and generally love what I get.

LOL this is AWESOME I already have some great IDEAS but lets not forget the one thing 99.999% of all women need!! IS MILK CHOCOLATE lol.. So I think somehow even if its just a bag of chocolate it should be included LMAO
